Birds and wildlife surrounding Hotel Cottbus

Building a birdhouse is a great way...

The clearing of natural vegetation for both urban and agricultural expansion can have a massive effect on the amount of wildlife you would expect to see in a city.  Most cities have a fair amount of wildlife, although this is usually away from the city centre, where mainly pigeons are found wondering the streets, pecking for crumbs.  The usual habitat for birds and wildlife in the city is on the outer circle of the city, where there are fields, landscapes and gardens.

A garden is a good place to watch for wildlife, if you were to sit at night and watch through the window, you would probably witness the odd fox or badger trailing across the garden.  During the day there is a variety of birds which can be seen in the city garden, squirrels and field mice can often be seen too.

Berlin is a major city which attracts many tourists through its streets each year, there is much in the way of nightlife, pubs and clubs for the young, and many hen and stag parties enjoy the cities attractions on short breaks.  Wildlife and birds in the heart of Berlin is scarce, but on the surrounding boarders, there are plenty of beautiful walks and much to see and do.  Berlin is also home to the oldest zoo in Germany, this zoo has many animals, from polar bears, lions, tigers, monkeys, baboons and birds.  It also has a magnificent aquarium which has many unusual fish in.

If Berlin seems a little lively, approximately 125km away from the heart of Berlin lies the city Cottbus.  Cottbus is situated on the River Spree in Brandenburg Germany.  As many people are aware Brandenburg is where the infamous Brandenburg gate lies, or checkpoint Charlie.  Although the gate is now used purely as a tourist attraction and not a control point to divide East from West.  There are a fair amount of hotel Cottbus, and for those looking for the ultimate relaxation breaks, there are many wellness hotel Cottbus also.
