Enjoying Bird-watching after Plastic
Surgery
After having plastic surgery on my nose (Facelift Berlin) I was in a considerable amount of pain. I found solace in bird watching. I
found that watching the birds in my garden through my window was very peaceful and comforting.
It took my mind away from the pain of the plastic surgery. I saw many different
birds: the grey find, jackdaw, jay. The green woodpecker was quite interesting I found that it was the largest of
our woodpeckers it is larger than a blackbird. It has a green covering on its back and wings, with a yellow colour
on the rest of its body. It also looks as if it is wearing a white pair of pants. Its head is red.
I found this was present all of the winter and when I looked this up in my book
I found out that this bird could be seen all year round. I also noticed that I had a bird called Brambling
reappearing over the winter. This is only present in winter. During the winter the Brambling's appearance is
different to that in the summer it has a black head with an orange breast in the summer the male has a black
head and back.
The summer plumage of a female brambling is much the same as her winter one
but it is such brighter. The goldcrest was another bird which showed itself on my garden more than once. You would
think that with a name like goldcrest the bird would be a golden colour this is not the case this bird is an olive
green in colour with a gold stripe on its crown. There were lots of sparrows which often were in song through the
summer months.
I put bread and nuts out for the birds to encourage more of them. I found that
the magpies were often present but more often than not were in pairs as apposed to being one their own. Kestrels
circled over head as the field mice from the back garden often attracted them to near my house. Although I had pain
from the plastic surgery (beauty-pro.de) I found that this was eased by having an interest in bird watching. I found
out about the nature in my garden which until I did this I knew almost nothing about.
The crow often appeared in my garden, this frightened off most of the little
birds that flew to the safety of the privet hedge. I found that some nuts worked better than others and the birds
did like the fat balls I put out for them. Every time I put a new batch of bird food out I found that new birds
that I had not seen before would come on to the garden before I knew it I had a list of over 50 different varieties
of birds that had enjoyed the food on my garden. As my plastic surgery healed I found that my time watching birds
was drawing to an end and the last bird which I saw on my garden was the Robin. A lovely little bird with a red
breast often friendly. I found that I was able to get close to this bird without it flying off.
